Cascadia International, LLC and Cascadia Isuzu Trucks, LLC were formed in November of 2006, when the assets of Pacific Coast Truck Center (Washington) and Alaska Truck Center (Alaska) were purchased from the former owner, Dole Foods. Since then, the company has expanded with an additional location in Yakima, Washington, purchased in May of 2007.
The name “Cascadia” dates back to the early 1800′s, when Lewis and Clark were exploring the Northwest territories, and was coined by United States President Thomas Jefferson. It was used to represent an independent region or state with shared political views, cultural values, language, history and interests. The name also draws upon the landmark mountain range in the Pacific Northwest, the Cascade Mountain Range, which runs through Washington, Oregon and California. At different times in history, the Cascadia region included British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and – at times – Northern California, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska.
Cascadian values are independence, autonomy, innovation and cooperation. Here at Cascadia International, we emphasize these values and take them a step further, directly supporting the needs of our customers with the following business practices:
Teamwork – We operate as one company and one team: we put our best players on the field; we have expert-level knowledge and training in our industry; all departments work together to support our customers.
Excellence – We hold ourselves to the very highest performance level and maintain a winning team, which allows us to excel at everything we do and provide more for our customers than any other truck dealer.
Profit-Oriented – Our employees make decisions in their jobs as though they own the business: they act in the best interest of the company and, therefore, our customers; they are always fair; they continually make business decisions supporting profitability, which keeps us strong and helps us grow.
People Oriented – Cascadia International is a great place to work: our employees are excited to be here; they see themselves, and our company, as winners; employees are excited to come to work every day; we have great benefits; everyone works together; no one is excluded.
Aggressive – We have a sense of urgency: we have a business plan and we execute it without delay; we are competitive, and we let no other competitive dealer take business from us; we are always looking for new opportunities.
Cascadia International exists to serve its customers’ transportation needs. Our customers always come first, and service to them is the foundation of everything we do.
